Swift-Cantrell Park Swift-Cantrell Park serves as one of the premier recreation, relaxation and central gathering places for Kennesaw area residents. Park hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. At 42 acres, the City of Kennesaw’s largest community park features:
Future plans for the park include a recreation center/gymnasium, aquatic center, and a skatepark. Parking Parking is available for approximately 170 vehicles. Additional parking is available at Kennesaw Elementary School, 3155 Jiles Road, weekdays after 5:30pm, and weekends from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. An entry gate into the park is accessible behind the school. The speed limit is 10mph within park boundaries. Dog Rules Dogs must be on an appropriate chain, leash or tie not exceeding 6 feet in length, and in the hands of a person who possesses the ability to restrain the animal at all times. Dogs are prohibited on playgrounds. Please clean up after your pet. Disposable plastic waste bags and receptacle stations are located throughout the park. Dog Park The 1.4 acre off-leash dog park has 6-foot perimeter fencing, two separate run areas (for large and small dogs), a watering station, dog wash area, and disposable plastic waste bags and receptacle stations. Trail Rules Trail hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trail. Bicycles are allowed on the outer trail only. Additional Park Rules Smoking or tobacco use is not permitted except in parking areas. The possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
