Registration Information (Spring 2013)
Two different leagues will be offered:

  • Friday evening - NEW! / Games begin on March 1 (max 6 teams)
  • Sunday afternoon / Games begin on March 3 (max 12 teams)

Registration for returning teams*

Between January 7 and February 1

Registration for new teams

Between January 14 and February 1

*Returning teams participated in the Fall 2012 League

Registration is accepted until the final registration date, or until the maximum number of teams is reached. Registration forms are available online (see link below) and at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive. Individual free agents can connect with other players looking for a team on the Adult Co-Ed Softball League Facebook page (click on the "Wall").


General Information

  • Schedules and StandingsGames will be played at the Adams Park Softball Complex.
  • Teams will be required to provide their own uniforms.
  • At the conclusion of the tournament, the 1st place team in each league will receive a team championship trophy, and each member will receive a championship t-shirt. The 2nd place team will receive a team runner-up trophy.
  • Teams may be comprised of up to 18 players, with a minimum of 50% being female.
  • The league will operate under its own in-park rules. Any rule not addressed by these rules will be covered under Amateur Softball Association (ASA) rules.
  • Final rosters are due in before the first game. All non-resident fees will be assessed based off information on the final roster. These fees are due by the second week of the season.
  • A mandatory manager's meeting will be scheduled after registration, and prior to the season (date, time and location TBD).


Registration Fees
Registration fee is $450 per team. Each player who is a non-resident is required to pay an additional $10 user fee*. We accept cash or check payments. Checks should be made payable to the "City of Kennesaw". Fees are due at time of registration.

*You are considered a city resident if you live within the incorporated city limits of Kennesaw. You are considered a non-resident if you live outside the city limits of Kennesaw. A Kennesaw postal address does not, in itself, determine residency.

  • Classes at Smith-Gilbert Gardens offer gardening pointers to adults & kids.

  • Police officers start the recruiting process early.

  • Shop at our Farmers Market for fresh produce, baked goods & other items from May-October.

  • Mayor Mathews invites future community leaders to participate in City Council meetings.

  • The Police Honor Guard is specially trained to represent the department at formal functions.

  • The Civil War era comes to life at the Southern Museum and in annual battle re-enactments.

  • The annual Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival features a Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned contest.

  • Gather your paints brushes or camera and get inspired at Smith-Gilbert Gardens.

  • Enthusiastic and dedicated staff provide first-rate support of the citys trails, parks and facilities.

  • Hundreds of volunteers maintain the beautiful flora at the 16 acre Smith-Gilbert Gardens.

  • The Citys two community parks offer families hours of recreation and relaxation.

  • Children celebrate Arbor Day by planting a tree in the Garden at Swift-Cantrell Park.

  • Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield Park offers a bird-eye view of the city and surrounding area.

  • A new pedestrian underpass provides safe passage between Main St. and the Depot.
